Bridging the Gap in a Crisis

The heart of The New Leader's 100-Hour Action Plan – Leading Through a Crisis is an iterative approach to bridging the gap between the desired and current state of affairs.  A big part of this is about bringing some order and structure to perceived chaos on the part of many.  As much as we all generally hate process and routine, it can be a lifeline for people standing around in a crisis waiting for someone to tell them what to do.

To help people get into a routine, we've created a 100-Hour Action Plan tool.  It's main components include:

  • Organization's Purpose
  • Update – Physical, Political, Emotional Context
  • Situational Objectives and Intent
  • Priorities – Actions – When – Who
  • Communication
  • Protocols for next team meeting and exception management

Happy to share The New Leader's 100-Hour Action Plan – Leading Through a Crisis paper and tool with any and all interested.  Just leave a comment or send me an email and ask.
